An international multidisciplinary chemistry network providing a training and research environment for future international chemistry leaders in India and United Kingdom
With a PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Piyushi is a Science Communication and Outreach Manager with over 5 years of hands-on experience in teaching, networking, promoting scientific literacy and research.
The idea behind the creation of ISCC was to bring together a network of scientific leaders from India and the UK that with their combined talents and expertise, could work together on exciting new scientific challenges. This approach will be the first of a kind between India and the UK in the field of sustainable chemistry and would undoubtedly strengthen scientific relations between the two countries. 14 Scientists were selected from 13 different universities spread across the various parts of India and the UK covering individual expertise and with a view to cover both regional diversity and equality across the two nations.
