An international multidisciplinary chemistry network providing a training and research environment for future international chemistry leaders in India and United Kingdom
Prof. Fernanda Duarte, UK co-coordinator of ISCC and faculty member at the University of Oxford, has been awarded the Harrison-Meldola Memorial Prize by the Royal Society of Chemistry for introducing multidisciplinary approaches to rationalise complex (bio)chemical reaction mechanisms, guiding rationale molecular design.
Prof. Fernanda Duarte’s research focuses on the computational methods to understand fundamental problems in (bio)organic chemistry and to interpret exciting new experiments.
The Harrison-Meldola Memorial Prize is an annual prize awarded to three scientists every year by the Royal Society of Chemistry who demonstrate the most meritorious and promising original investigations in chemistry and publish results of those investigations.
