COMMONWEALTH SPLIT-SITE SCHOLARSHIP FOR SABIAR RAHAMAN

Sabiar Rahaman, a PhD student at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bengaluru working under the supervision of Dr. Kavita Pandey has been selected for a highly prestigious Commonwealth Split-site scholarship program funded by UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), United Kingdom.

This scholarship allows him to finish part of his PhD research at the University of Manchester, UK with Prof. Ashok Keerthi where he will be placed by CSC for 1 year. The CSC covers all the expenses related to his research, stay in the UK, travel, and contingencies. He has to begin this scholarship in February 2023. His research work focuses on the use of nanomaterials in next-generation flexible energy storage devices.
