Prof. Basker Sundararaju, the founding member of ISCC and faculty member at IIT Kanpur, is among those selected to receive the Bronze Medal of the Chemical Research Society (CRSI) of India for 2023. The Bronze Medal of CRSI honours young researchers for their contributions to research in chemical sciences.
CRSI is a premier professional chemical society of India established in 1999 with an aim to facilitate and promote research & education in all branches of chemistry. The Society organises symposia, events and seminars, and also gives various awards, including gold, silver and bronze medals to recognise excellence in chemistry research each year.
Prof. Basker’s research interests are focused on the development of new methods for organic synthesis, ligand design, C-H & C-C bond functionalization and application in targeted synthesis.
