Prof. Basker Sundararaju, the founding member of ISCC and faculty member at IIT Kanpur, has been invited to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the chemical sciences. Founded in 1841, RSC is the largest organization in Europe for advancing the chemical sciences. RSC partners with industry and academia, advises governments on policy and promotes the talent, collaboration, innovation and ideas that lead to great advances in science.
Prof. Basker’s research interests are focused on the development of new methods for organic synthesis, ligand design, C-H & C-C bond functionalization and application in targeted synthesis.
