CONGRATULATIONS ! PROF. SANTOSH J. GHARPURE HAS BEEN INVITED TO BECOME A FELLOW OF THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF CHEMISTRY

Prof. Santosh J. Gharpure, founding member of ISCC and faculty member at IIT Bombay, has been invited to become a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry through their “Leaders in the Field” scheme. This is a scheme where the Royal Society of Chemistry identifies outstanding individuals in the chemical science community to be invited to become Fellows. Professor Gharpure has been invited in recognition of his contributions as an accomplished synthetic organic chemist in developing solutions for industry for societal impact.

Prof. Gharpure’s research focuses on the development of new synthetic methods, which would be applicable for the synthesis of natural and unnatural products of biological relevance.
